My life passion is living and promoting sustainability. A born and raised yooper from the Upper Peninsula (UP) of Michigan, I grew up spoiled with nature. Living out my formative years in this beautiful land shaped my life purpose. With over a decade of experience working as a sustainability professional within the corporate environment, I have been fortunate to apply my personal values to my work in addition to my home life. Throughout my career, I've worked within environmental and sustainability advocacy ranging from community organizing, lobbying, fundraising, program and project management within corporations, public speaking and volunteering on multiple non-profit boards. I am a TEDx speaker, media trained, and participated in interviews on TV and Radio. I’m a facilitator, strategist and wannabe futurist who is on a mission to grow the movement of sustainability. In 2022 I was named a Notable Leader in Sustainability by Crain's Detroit Business. My approach to change centers community, prioritizing relationships, creativity, and collaboration. I am an experienced program manager within the healthcare industry, successfully integrating sustainability and supplier development into operational and support services including supply chain, facilities, and food services.
